A Grand Saisaki Festival

A whole new unique epicurean experience awaits the sophisticated diner who has a taste for Japanese culinary delights.
In conjunction with the Spring Festival in Japan and its 15th Anniversary Celebration, Grand Saisaki will be having a Saisaki Festival to thank its customers for their continued patronage and also raise funds for the National Cancer Society of Malaysia. It will be a great time for the whole family to roll up their sleeves and enjoy a whole host of Japanese cuisine and delicacies.

This 2-month long festival, from 23rd April till the end of June 14, will feature specially designed menus with dishes like sushi, sashimi, kabucha, yakitori, takoyaki and many more. One highlight of the festival is the showcase of a Giant Swordfish during the opening ceremony. All Shogun and Saisaki outlets will be showcasing this giant fish where patrons get to savour fresh sashimi and sushi.

"The Sushi remains the most popular Japanese food, there's much more to explore in this Far Eastern cuisine," said Executive Chef Kentaro. This festival provides patrons with the opportunity to enjoy a specially crafted buffet menu with items like Gunkan (Salmon Roe), slipper lobsters, anago, unagi and many more. 15 varieties of Kyoto vegetarian sushi and maki will also be introduced to the buffet spread commemorating the first Japanese buffet outlet in Malaysia since 1999.

“Our festival tagline Feasting with a Heart coincides with our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme and we are really enthusiastic about giving back to society. During the festival, Grand Saisaki will be donating RM1 from every buffet spent throughout the festival to The Cancer Society of Malaysia. Our patrons and collaborative business partners will actually be a part of this fundraising event in support of the selected organisation. Throughout the two months there will be many activities conducted to help reach our target of RM150,000 for the Cancer Society,” says Dato’ Sri Michael Chong, Managing Director of Grand Saisaki.
Japan has a deep-rooted food culture and the cuisine is rich in food value with less usage of oil that ensures a great taste with health in mind. During the festival, Grand Saisaki will be offering special festival menus, discounts, and great meal deals.

A host of activities are also lined up from collaborating partners like Open Rice, Groupon Malaysia, BCard, Brand Laureatte and Top 10 of Malaysia. Competitions will also be held with tri-weekly prizes leading up to the Grand Prizes at the closing of the Festival.
Mark your calendars and visit us during the FEST to enjoy all the goodies that are coming your way. Come hungry – because the aromas from the kitchen are sure to entice you!
